Gift

Some children bring their mothers cards or flowers, my daughter brought me this.

I guess this is what happens when your daughter volunteers at the vet. She got an anatomy lesson and she and the vet dissected the other one. She very proudly came home to tell me how the various pieces and parts worked. I'm glad she's learning and retaining what she sees there but I think I would have preferred chocolate or flowers!

I,uh, don't mean to be obtuse.... but what *is* that?? I think your daughter has been volunteering with a cryptozoologist and not a veterinarian.

Hmm, Maybe it is not so strange that I have an owl pellet and a preserved sheep's heart waiting in a basement drawer for 9th grade biology!

Before it gets past it's prime (so to speak), fry it up and enjoy some Rocky Mountain Oysters!! Or not...
